WARRANTY

All products are carefully checked at each stage of production, packing, and delivery and certified to Quality Assurance standard ISO 13485-2003.

The warranty covers defects in construction or workmanship. Thermo contour® products are CE registered as medical devices and should be treated with care.

The liquid proof polyurethane cover is made from vapour permeable coated textile. It is effective for as long as the surface is undamaged or becomes worn through.

EXCLUSIONS
Replacement under warranty excludes damage or defects caused by:

• Mechanical damage
• Misuse of chemicals causing damage or staining of the cover or foam
• Improper use by patients who exceed the maximum body weight as indicated
• Incorrect handling, carrying, storage, or damage caused by hard or sharp objects.
• Use with incompatible beds and not in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
• Incorrect cleaning or steam cleaning.
• Inadequate packaging or preservation of the product in storage or when sending for repair or inspection.
• Accidents or disasters, or acts of God outside the control of Barrington Healthcare International Ltd. including floods, fire, storms, third party damage.

Any claim must be notified to the manufacturer or the distributor with the name and contact details to ensure correct follow up. Any proven defective product will be replaced with a Thermo contour® product offering the same performance.

Damage in transit must be notified within 14 days of delivery.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that one spare product and one spare cover be made available for each 20 products in service. Only genuine Thermo contour® covers should be used.
